Two inches of water in basement. Receptionist answered phone. No one can come to repair sump pump until Monday. If there is damage to furnace or freezer everdry better pay for damages.

Everdry should have an emergency team on call on weekends and after hours. I will NEVER recommend Everdry to anyone and will be contacting Better Business Bureau.

TERRIBLE Experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - We spent $25,000 and five days; water was in the basement.
  • - The site was filthy and dusty with rocks and sand; there were multiple callbacks.

From beginning to end, our experience has been bad.

After $25,000 and five days of work, we have water in the basement in the same area where we previously had water.

In addition, our basement was left in a filthy, muddy mess. They didn't properly tent the area so the upstairs was full of concrete dust as well.

Our doors, walls, and stairs where they walked up and down were dirty and full of muddy handprints. They dropped fill rock all over the floor. I'm still finding rocks and sand everywhere.

I had to call them back three times. Once to fix the plastic board they put up on the bottoms of the walls, which was a complete disaster and had to be redone.

Again to reconnect the dryer that they left unconnected. And a third time to finish a toilet cleanout.

They had to work through a powder room and they completely demolished it, so now we have to have it completely redone.

On top of all that, the supervisor on the job showed up the first morning absolutely REEKING of marijuana. Do what you want on your own time, but don't show up wasted to work on my home.

I had the kitchen windows open while they were working in the backyard another day and the smell of marijuana coming through the windows was incredibly strong, and then I saw two of the workers walk out from behind our shed.

DON'T HIRE this company. The headaches, the mess, the noise, the COST, and oh yeah, the fact that they didn't actually waterproof the basement, made it not worth!

Cons:
  • Workmanship

Preferred solution: I want them to have actually WATERPROOFED my basement

Service Manager Threatened Elderly Mother

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Anthony Luedke spoke to my elderly mother aggressively and inappropriately.
  • - He threatened to sue over a BBB dispute and harassed us with calls.

Service Manager Anthony Luedke spoke to my 79-year-old mother in an aggressive and inappropriate way.

When she mentioned contacting the Better Business Bureau for help after a warranty dispute, he told her he would sue her and "take away her house." He and other employees harassed us over this issue calling our home and cell phones repeatedly in the early morning over the course of several days.

Anthony L. also made several statements during the project that turned out to be misleading or untrue, including claims about his professional connections, the price of competitors and his age.

Highly unprofessional and simply bizarre.

Pros:
  • Did the work contracted for
Cons:
  • Threatening managers
  • Aggressive

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Don't allow these clowns in your home

Terrible Customer Service

  • - Tony Luedke threatened to sue and take my mother's home over BBB.
  • - Missed $75 payments due to no billing; a $3,000 reinstatement fee was charged.

"I'll sue you and take away your home!" - Tony Luedke., Manger at Waukesha's EVERDRY.

This is what Anthony thought it prudent to tell my 80 year old mother when she said she was going to the BBB for help.

The short story is we missed a couple $75 payments because we were never billed or sent any sort of reminder to keep the "lifetime warranty" in effect. When we did get a reminder in the mal we immediately sent in payment for the warranty.

It was returned with a note to call EVERDRY.

Anthony L.

of Waukesha's EVERDRY stated, repeatedly, that he COULD waive the $3,000 reinstatement fee but refused to do so.

Yes you read that right, $3,000 to reinstate the warranty so we could have the priveldige to pay the $75 yearly warranty fee, which according even to EVERDRY, gets "lost in the mail."

When she said she was going to contact the local BBB, Tony L. THREATENED to sue and take away my mother's home.

Cons:
  • Terrible customer service

User's recommendation: Use McCoys or ANY other waterproofing company. AVOID Everdry!

3 years after initially hiring Everdry:They have now been to my home 39 times. My basement is still flooding and they still haven’t finished what I had paid for.

Everytime that they arrive to fix their work, they break something else or will say that they need to go get a tool or part and never come back. I had a BBB mediation with them and they blamed me for them not finishing the job and for having to pay workers to come to my home 39 times.

They also repeatedly threatened to sue me and take my Home for defamation. Jeff, the general manager, is a crook, liar, and very disrespectful.

DO NOT USE Everdry Waterproofing! I paid them $22,000 in January 2023 to install a sump pump and water drainage system for my basement that was flooding.

It has been 10 months and they still have not completed the installation and my basement is still flooding! They have came out to my residence 22 separate times which means that I have called off of work 22 times because they come out and only do a little bit of work at a time. They have also completely destroyed the paint in my basement, porch, and walkway. They have damaged a lot of drywall and ceiling as well and they refuse to repair it.

They also broke one of my locks to a door somehow and repeatedly state that they didnt do it even though it wasnt broken until they showed up.

Their customer service has yet to act like they care about my concerns and are very rude. MY BASEMENT IS STILL FLOODING!

  • - From quote to install, they treated us like family.
  • - They proposed waterproofing both outside and inside.
  • - A lifetime warranty was included.

We used everdry of atlanta, Georgia. From the initial quote to the final installation, everyone from that company treated us like family.

They were the only company that proposed waterproofing both the outside and the inside at the same time.

This gave us twice the protection and a lifetime warranty included. Thank you Everdry

Since doing this job in 2019. I have more leaks then before walls crumbling on the inside.

Everdry been here multiple times only to slap tar on the outside walls. Inspectors are a joke arguing with me saying its gutters and that's BS. This is aweful. I have multiple pictures and videos.

Tired of this really poor workmanship..

it either get fix right by a crew that knows what their doing or filing a BBB Complaint and seeking legal representation. No more with thes inspectors i had it

EverDry Waterproofing - To keep others from being scammec

My basement has flooded four times since I paid EverDry

Waterproofing $22,440 in June 2019. I've lost furniture and carpeting.

The first time it flooded in October 2019, they never returned my calls. The second time it flooded in October 2019, it took a month to get a person to attend to the cause. It has flooded twice in May 2020, most recently in May 17. The water flowed in as though a faucet had been turned on full blast.

I spent 8 hours using my shop vac to try to keep up with the flow, but the water came in faster than I could vacuum it.

When I called, they said they would let me know. When your basement floods, they're rude as though it was your fault.

AI Highlights
  • - House has stood since 1959 with no flooding or mold; basement is stuffy.
  • - They offered a package with a sump pump I didn’t need and on-site signing.

Complete waste of time. First off my house has been standing since 1959 with no flooding or mold issues our basement is just stuffy and humid the Salesmen tried to make us think our Basement is in horrible condition

" your walls are going to fall in if you don't get this fixed" it was one crack in the mortar joint of the concrete blocks been there for years.

Similar to other high pressure home improvement companies selling Windows, Foam Insulation, Siding, Guttering It's a package deal whether you need it fix it or not example one service in the package is installing a new Sump Pump which I don't need mine works fine. They want you to sign contract on the spot and they'll give you special pricing which we all know is bull.

My mistake is I did not do enough research before having them at my home. Oh, and the quote was for $23,000 double what a real contractor not a franchise would charge.

Neighbors sump pump discharge flooding my yard

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

EverDry put in a sump pump in my neighbors basement and has the discharge pipe aimed at my yard. My neighbor owns very little property on side where EverDry put her discharge pipe.

Instead of putting it at the back of her house and discharging to her property they put it on the smallest part of her property so it is flooding my yard and not doing anything to hers. Other neighbor that hired them had the same problem.

User's recommendation: I do not recommend EverDry Waterproofing. Terrible work.
